About Us

The human touch at FACC

Our story

FAITH ARISE COMMUNITY CENTRE (FACC) is founded based on helping orphaned and
vulnerable children who, after adequate scrutiny have been found to have no existing relatives who can take up the responsibility of raising and caring for them.

The organization will ensure to develop these girls and boys holistically by providing a home environment for them to grow and create relationships with each other and those who will be in charge of their welfare. Faith Arise will ensure that these children are given the best environment in which to identify and unleash their potential to become positive contributors to the society and nation in which they live in and beyond.

It is the intention of this organization to see to it that the young boys and girls become men and women who aid positive change and inspire generations to come.

About US

Faith Arise Community Centre (FACC) is a Non-Profit Making Non-Governmental Organization in Zambia that addresses the needs of Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) and marginalized women and girls in Zambia’s rural and urban communities through programs in education, health, shelter and empowerment. We advocate for the rights of marginalized women and girls and promote gender equality and social justice.

We are committed to contributing to government efforts in ensuring that vulnerable communities in both rural and urban Zambia have access to basic needs that are not limited to Education, Health, Clean Water and Sanitation as well as Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health Rights Education (ASRHRE) and Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM).

We envision

We see orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs) whose futures have been positively impacted by our works and services; children who have been holistically developed, empowered and fully developed to impact their communities positively.

We see young people and women who have been provided and empowered with high quality and holistic Sexual Reproductive Health Information and Services.

We envision communities where vulnerable women and girls are empowered to live life to the fullest and positively contribute to the betterment of their lives, family and communities.

We envision an environment where women and girls who have gone through various forms of abuse are able to experience free professional counselling and under-go holistic rehabilitation processes.

We envision

We envision thriving communities where marginalised women and girls, orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs) have access to basic human needs such as clean water and sanitation, education, and health. We see communities where gender equality, social justice and human rights are fully lived and the protection against early and child marriages, HIV/AIDS/STIs, unintended teenage pregnancies, and Sexual Gender Based Violence is guaranteed. Where adolescents especially young women and girls (including those with disabilities) have access to Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health Rights Education (ASRHRE) and Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM).
